The Apple Pencil is indispensable for taking notes or drawing on the iPad but here’s another great alternative called the Fojojo Stylus Pen which not only looks like the Apple Pencil but it’s also much more affordable.
It does not require Bluetooth to pair, simply just touch the cap button to switch it on and it will auto shutdown to sleep mode after idling for 5 minutes. This active stylus can work for 20 hours continuously with its lithium polymer battery and comes with a 1.2mm carbon fiber tip that is responsive and precise. It has palm rejection support so that you don’t accidentally mess up your working area. Charging is easy with the included USB Type-C cable.
Supporting all iPad including the Air, Mini, and Pro version from year 2018 onward, it’s hard to go wrong with this good looking stylus that’s highly rated and is more than half the price of the Apple Pencil. If you’re interested head on over to check it out on Amazon for only $39.99.
Hi, I have been trying to find an answer about this and this type of stylus. If they do not require a blue-tooth connection or have shortcut commands, why do they need to be charged?
Hi,
This is because active stylus has internal electronic components that communicates with compatible digitizer screens like the iPad which allows for features like palm rejection and pressure sensitivity but Fojojo stylus does not have the pressure sensitivity feature probably because it lacks the Bluetooth connection. You need to charge it because of those electronic components.
